1851 year
Kryukovo settlement began expanding its territory
1851 — After building of twin track railway St. Petersburg-Moscow Kryukovo settlement began expanding its territory. There appeared railmen's and  settled peasants' small houses, a guest yard, a two-storey guest house with 6 rooms, bakery, small shop, public house. Two first district parochial schools were opened in Lyalovo and Chashnikovo.

First primary school was opened

1908 — First primary school was opened in railway settlement Kryukovo.

1924 year
First graduates finished a 10-year school. Village reading room was opened in settlement of Andreevka

1924 — first graduates finished a 10-year school established in 1918 on the basis of primary railway school. Village reading room was opened in settlement of Andreevka.

Opening of the first school and the first kindergarten

The first school (¹ 842) and the first kindergarten (in building 137) were opened

1966 year jule
The first freshman year of MIET is formed
By September, 1, 1966 220 young people had entered the full-time course of MIET. Besides 30 students had been transferred from other institutes (MIFI, MHTI) for the second year.

Opening of children's music school

Opening of children's music school (¹ 53, on authority of the Resolution of the Moscow City Council of Working People's Deputies from 26th June, 1969, ¹ 28/34). In 1996 the school was named after M.P.Mussorgsky.

Opening of red-brick unique architecture complex of MIET

Opening of unique complex of red-brick buildings of Moscow Institute of Electronic Technology (architecturors F.A.Novikov, G.E.Saevich).

Opening of State technical-vocational school (¹ 121)

Opening of State technical-vocational school (¹ 121). In 1992 this school was united with the subsidiary of construction technical school and modified into Zelenograd regional centre of continuous vocational education.

Foundation of the Department of Microelectronics and Informatics of the International Academy of Informatisation

On the basis of science institutions and enterprises a large group of the leading national specialists in the field of microelectronics and informational technologies established the Department of Microelectronics and Informatics of the International Academy of Informatisation.

2005 year December
40th anniversary of MIET
On December, 9 MIET celebrated its 40th anniversary. On this day a grand meeting of scientific council took place. Y. Chaplygin, President of MIET, briefly touched upon the most important landmarks in the development of MIET.
2007 year December
First school of Zelenograd celebrated its 45th anniversary.
On December, 7 842 secondary school, the first school of Zelenograd, celebrated its 45th anniversary. It accepted its first pupils on the first of September and double-shifted, accommodating the pupils of the School for Working Youth in the evening.
2008 year
A happy journey, new department!
A new department of applied information technologies was opened in Moscow Institute of Electronic Technology (MIET). The department presentation was shown in December 2007, presently short-time preparation courses are available for school leavers seeking to study at this department.

40th anniversary of children’s music school ¹ 53
On November, 3, 2009 children’s music school ¹ 53 named after M. P. Musorgskiy celebrated its 40th anniversary.

Zelenograd school boy won European championship
A 16-year-old Zelenograd judoist Roman Buzuk, a member of Children’s and Youth Sports School of Olympic Reserve ¹ 114 (coach – A. Sebelev) won European championship among youth that took place in Slovenia.

The Creativity of the Young scientific conference in Zelenograd
Nearly 200 students presented 192 scientific and practical research works in the Creativity of the Young 16th regional scientific conference of pupils.

This is a significant event in the cultural life of the district. The school provides elementary academic art training in drawing, painting, composition, culture, and art history.

A new kindergarten opened in the 9th microdistrict of Zelenograd
The kindergarten being the structural subdivision (preschool department) of school 897 is to accomodate 220 children.

Pupil of Zelenograd school 853 became the winner of the international championship of math and logic games
Zelenograd citizen Nikita Zhukov, pupil of 6 "B" grade of school 853, was the winner of the final stage of the XXVII international championship of math and logic games, which took place in Paris.
